This painting is a deeply personal celebration of a dream fulfilled. Confetti, a little palomino Appaloosa, is the first horse I ever owned and loved as an adult. When Confetti came into my life, I finally became able to fulfill my childhood dream of owning a horse and his name is a symbol of that celebration. He is the living answer to more than twenty years of birthday candles, wishes, and prayers, so it was only fitting that his portrait feature a birthday party hat.
